MP3 is a compressed audio file, making it smaller in size and quality, but hardly any normal human ear can get the decreased quality of the sound. It is also known as a shortcut of MPG-3, MPG level 3 or MPEG3.
MP3 music has become a basic need for some people. Easy and small size files in MP3 format making it as the most popular music file format for most people, basically is that everybody loves MP3 music.
Internet has a very big contribution for the MP3 growth; the idea of downloadable MP3 is making the music along with other audio and video files to be very transferable. All you need is a simple MP3 player to play it your self.
Some issues has occurred to confront the existence of peer to peer file sharing sites, they claim those sites to be illegal form of MP3 music sharing. Music industry claims that they lost millions of dollars due to the free sharing, though some people still do not really care about it and keep using them.
With the technology of MP3 music sharing, many indie artist and musicians use a new marketing way to make their music known to the society so they decide to give it free as MP3s. This idea revolutionizes the conventional distribution of music.
In fact, many of the celebrities and renowned artists came from that kind of practice. People listened to their music and like it first, then they curious about the artists and musicians behind the music, making their MP3 music famous is their first target.
