CD/MP3 Players Technology
by Jaxky Lim
MP3 players have changed the trend of walkman, cassette tape and portable CD players, even now CD and DVD also starting to loosen their grip of the users’ behavior because now more and more people are using digital MP3 players.
MP3 is the solution for those who want to bring along their large music collection with them, maybe when in the gym, on the road, or in the workplace. It is a technology where large music files can be compressed to a smaller music file format called MP3.
No more physical spaces needed to store CD cases and no more worries of scratches on your CD just because you listen to them very often or misplaced it. You can not bring along all your CD collection in a CD case if you are travelling abroad; as it will take many CD heavy cases just to add trouble for you.
The size of the memory in your MP3 player determines how many songs you can keep. Just do the math; if you want to store more music then you need bigger memory size. As far as I know, Cheap MP3 player like 1GB MP3 can hold up to more than 200 songs.
Despite the popularity of digital mp3 players, some people are still eager to use CD/MP3 players for their audio needs. They still like to use compact disc collection rather than turning all of their music collection to an mp3 format so they can put it in the device; in fact, the populations of CD/MP3 players are still quite many now.
